Day 1: Arrive Paris, Wednesday
Upon arrival to the beautiful city of Paris, also known
as the "City of Light" transfer to your hotel. The rest
of the day is free to relax or begin to exploring on own.
Tonight, meet your fellow travelers and your Tour
Director for a Welcome Dinner. (D,O)

Day 2: Paris, Thursday
On a morning sightseeing tour of Paris view all major city's landmarks: Arc de Triomphe, Trocadero, Eiffel Tower, Invalides, Champs Elysees, Place de la Concorde, Latin Quarter, Pantheon, and the Paris Opera. The afternoon is at leisure to discover more of Paris at your own pace or perhaps join an optional excursion to Versailles. (B,O)

Day 3: to Epernay and Nancy, Friday
Today we drive to the Champagne region and first stop in Reims. City tour includes visit of the famous Cathedral where 25 Kings of France have been crowned. Continue on the Champagne route to Epernay and its prestigious Champagne Avenue where all the big names of Champagne have a boutique. Visit a champagne cellar for tasting, before we proceed to Nancy for overnight. (B,O)

Day 4: to Strasbourg and Karlsruhe, Saturday
This morning we'll visit Strasbourg, the capital of Alsace region. Visit the "Petit France" with its half-timbered houses, medieval bridges and canals; the historic center names "La Grande Ile:, classified as a World Heritage site by UNESCO; as well as the Gothic Cathedral, where you will be able to see the historical Astronomic clock. In the afternoon we'll go to Germany for a city tour of Karlsruhe, featuring city garden, Ettlinger Tor, Baden State Theatre, Marktplatz and the Palace. Tonight, enjoy dinner at a local restaurant. Day 5: to Rothenburg and Regensburg, Sunday
After breakfast, we continue on to Rothenburg ob der Tauber. Some time at leisure, before proceeding to Regensburg to board the ship for a week of sailing. Embarkation begins at 3pm. After arrival formalities, time to relax on board. Tonight, a gala Welcome Dinner. (B,D,O)

Day 6: Regensburg, Monday
This morning, explore Regensburg, one of Germany's largest medieval cities, designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The guided walking tour highlights the city's stunning architecture as we view the Old Town Hall, Dom St. Peter and Porta Pretoria, gateway to an ancient Roman fort built in 179 AD. Return to the boat for lunch or spend the afternoon at your leisure. At 3pm, the ship will set sail for Passau. (B,L,D,O)

Day 7: Passau, Tuesday
Dock this morning in 2500 year old Passau, known for its pastel patrician houses, cafes, cobblestone lanes and riverfront promenade. Explore Passau independently in the morning, or join the optional full day tour to picturesque Salzburg, birthplace of Mozart. After lunch at a local restaurant, there will time to explore Salzburg. Early evening, all passengers will rejoin the ship and continue sailing for Melk. (B,L,D,O)

Day 8: Melk Abbey, Wednesday
Disembark in Melk this morning for a guided tour of the historic Benedictine Abbey, considered one of the finest examples of Baroque architecture in Europe. Then, return to the ship and continue cruising through the scenic Wachau Valley on the way to Vienna. Tonight, you can attend an optional concert of the classical masterpieces of Mozart and Strauss. Day 9: Vienna, Thursday
This sparkling city has captivated travelers for years. Drive along the fames Rignstrasse, Vienna's main boulevard; see the lavish Hofburg Palace, and impressive Vienna Opera House. Continue to St. Stephen's Cathedral and the Parliament building. Enjoy the afternoon at a local cafe or join the optional afternoon tour to the Imperial Schonbrunn Palace. Set sail for Budapest this evening. (B,L,D,O)

Day 10: Bratislava, Friday
This morning, enjoy the scenery as you sail along the Danube. At noon, arrive in Bratislava, capital of Slovakia. This capital city is among the youngest in Europe, yet retains a rich history dating back more than 2000 years. Visit the historic town center; view St. Martin's Cathedral, the 13th century Old Town Hall and the Franciscan church. Time to explore the city on your own before returning to the ship for dinner as we sail for Budapest. (B,L,D,O)

Day 11: Budapest, Saturday
Your morning tour begins on the Pest side of the river; see Parliament, City Park and Heroes Square. Cross to Buda to see the Royal Palace, and Matthias Church. Explore the city this afternoon on your own. Tonight, enjoy a lavish Captain's Dinner. (B,L,D,O)

Day 12: depart Hungary, Sunday
This morning, disembark and transfer to the aiport for your departure flight. (B)
